Join

The Join Tool extends the ESRI join functionality to make it a little more user friendly. With the tool, when you join two shapefiles, or a shapefile with a standalone table, you are also creating a new shapefile that expresses this join. There is no need to export the shapefile out as you must do with the supplied join functionality. Also, the joining shapefile or table does not need to be included in the map document. This file may be brought in by using the browse (folder) button.
