Coastal Risk Atlas (CRA) - Texas

The Coastal Risk Atlas for Texas, an interactive mapping application, aids hurricane preparedness efforts by providing the data and methodology necessary to conduct vulnerability assessments for coastal areas in Texas.

No Map

This map covers all of the counties along the Texas coastline. The map displays hazard data, demographic data, critical facilities, land use, wetlands, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulated sites. Hazard data include storm surge, flood zones, wind model outputs, and a composite layer of these three datasets. Demographic data help to locate socially vulnerable populations specifically for evacuation assistance concerns, evacuation resource concerns, structural integrity concerns, and communication concerns.

*Please note: The demographic data represent the 2000 U.S. Census numbers.*
