NOAA, in association with the Northern Gulf Institute, convened a workshop, the Ecological Impacts of Hypoxia on Living Resources Workshop, to assess the state-of-knowledge of the impacts of hypoxia on ecologically, commercially, and recreationally important fish and shellfish populations. NCDDC prepared a hypoxia data inventory to emphasize available datasets for the Gulf of Mexico, Great Lakes, and Chesapeake Bay regions. This map service offers a view of the "footprints" or spatial extents of these datasets.
