Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Water Quality
The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary's Water Quality Interactive Map Service features an assemblage of water quality monitoring locations adjacent to and/or within watersheds near the Sanctuary. Various agencies and institutions that monitor water resources on the Central California coast provided most of the data.
By design, this map delivers information regarding the
location of water quality monitoring sites near or within
watersheds that empty into the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
Various agencies and organizations supplied all water quality monitoring spatial data and relevant
information.
Many of these data layers provide a link to the responsible
organization or agency's website, as well as links to data, if
available.
Data providers performed no spatial analyses for this map service. Base data include administrative boundaries, points of reference, and locations of helicopter photographs taken along the entire shoreline of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, including a link to each respective photo.
