• Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) - The FGDC web site provides geospatial metadata standards, education and training materials, and links to metadata tools and other online metadata resources.

• National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) - NBII web site provides access to NBII's Metadata Clearinghouse, training information, various metadata tools, the FGDC standards, and other online metadata resources.
