Description:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries (NMFS), and the National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC) have teamed to develop the NOAA Habitat Restoration Monitoring (NOHARM) web site. Data presented here are part of an experimental approach to monitoring selected NOAA-sponsored restoration projects. The initial focus is on those projects funded by the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection, and Restoration Act (CWPPRA). Data include overhead imagery, ground truth photographs, metadata, summary reports, briefings, and interactive capabilities to: 1) select overhead imagery for an animated view of change over time and 2) relate ground truth to overhead imagery.
